E. Michael Gomez, Esq. - After completing his undergraduate studies from the University of New Mexico's Anderson School of Management in the spring of 2001 Michael then worked for and with the Honorable Richard J. Knowles of the 2nd Judicial District Court – Bernalillo County. In doing so Michael's desire to become a "courtroom" lawyer was reaffirmed as he then went on to graduate from UNM's School of Law in 2006. Upon completion of his law school studies Michael then clerked for the 5th Judicial District Court Judges: Charles C. Currier, Ralph D. Shamas, Freddie J. Romero and Steven L. Bell before accepting a job with the 5th Judicial District's Office of the Public Defender. Michael is a seasoned lawyer having litigated and tried hundreds of cases in both New Mexico State and Federal courts over the past decade. He is listed in the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 for criminal defense which recognizes only the most qualified and select few attorneys in each state and region by invitation only. He is a sustaining member of the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association and a member of the New Mexico Criminal Defense Lawyers Assoc., the American Assoc. for Justice as well as the National Assoc. of Criminal Defense Lawyers. The bulk of his practice generally consists of advocating daily for the rights of New Mexico citizens as the voice for those who are victimized by the negligence of others or charged with a crime.

E.C. "Mike" Gomez, Esq. - Mike obtained his Bachelors in Business Administration in 1972 from the University of New Mexico, with a major in Finance. He then went on and obtained his Juris Doctor degree in 1984 from the University of New Mexico Law School and then became an Attorney for legal aid until 1989. Mike established his private practice in 1989, The Law Offices of E.C. "Mike" Gomez which later became Gomez Law Offices, LLC where he continues to practice law. Areas of practice include: bankruptcy, personal injury, social security/SSI administration and federal court litigation. Mike is licensed in both Federal and State courts of New Mexico and is a former intern/clerk to the Honorable Dan Sosa as well as a former fellow of the Reginald Herbert Smith Community Lawyer Fellowship Program.
